Owatrol Deks Olje D.1 is a saturating wood oil that drives out moisture and air present in wood and fills the wood’s pores with oil. This enriches and stabilises the wood to provide long-lasting protection to both interior and exterior timber.

The clear-in-colour oil does not form a film on the wood’s surface but protects from within so it will not peel or crack. It provides a clear matt finish which enhances the natural beauty of the wood and is easy to maintain without the need for sanding or stripping.

Deks Olje D.1 has been developed for dense, oily and difficult to impregnate woods. It can be used on both horizontal and vertical surfaces and provides protection against humidity and damage from UV rays.

When applied in marine environments, the oil can be applied to both above and below the waterline. It can also be used as a primer for conventional single-pack coatings and decorative finishes.
