This is a genuine Sherwood G906 pedestal mounted boat engine cooling pump, using raw water intake (river water or sea water) and a flexible impeller to cool the engine. The Sherwood G906 is supplied complete with a 12 vane through key drive flexible neoprene impeller. The pump is designed to be pulley driven but the pulley is not supplied (this was supplied with pump number G906P).

Typical applications for the Sherwood G906 pump include: Kohler 4 and 6 cylinder diesel engines, replaces Kohler pump 246489.
